Sam Noumoff (1935-2014) The Passing of a Legend - II
II
Samuel J Noumoff, an outstanding mentor, friend and guide, joined the Department of Political Science of McGill University in 1967 and retired in 2006. At McGill Sam could be described as the most outstanding individual. He was loved by his students, admired by his colleagues and even foes caved in to his gentle and persuasive arguments. He fought against the conservative McGill establishment, but he did so in a way that even his most ardent adversaries found him to be humble and passionate. And, most importantly, he was genuine.
