Salman Khurshid, the corporate affairs minister, has suggested that corporate houses should not pay vulgar salaries to the chief executive officers (CEOs) of companies

In this connection the minister said that many CEOs get an annual salary of more than Rs 50 crore which is 12,000 times the per capita income. But he has nothing to say about vulgar profits earned by corporate houses which is gained on account of the huge difference between the actual cost of production per unit of a commodity and the price charged from the ultimate consumers.
