Genetically Modified Seeds

In the entire debate the Indian farmer is never thought of as the final customer and arbiter of genetically modified (GM) crop technology. Unlike the Green Revolution days, the farmers are never involved extensively in the GM seed field trials in a transparent manner and the trials are held under secrecy at all levels.
