The present set of CBMs have managed to create a 'feel-good' atmosphere that has tended to overshadow the substantive issues of conflict between Pakistan and India. Yet, these issues do exist and at the end of the day unless they are resolved to the satisfaction of all sides, peace will remain transitory between Pakistan and India. While the present peace process may be 'irreversible', it can certainly be stalled.
