Forestry and Plantations

The Kyoto Protocol fixes legally binding targets to restrict the emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs) by the rich (Annex I) countries. The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is a market mechanism to help these countries meet their Kyoto targets cost-effectively.
