Need to Get Out of the Loop The latest round of talks between the government of India and the leaders of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim is unlikely to be anything more than a continuation of a dialogue that has been taking place, off and on, for well over seven years, at various levels. One has to say this despite the fact that both the government of India and the NSCN leaders appear to have modified, even if only in form and probably for purely tactical reasons, some of the rigid positions on issues like sovereignty and territorial integrity.
