Patents for Biotechnology Inventions in TRIPs

While the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights Agreement of the Uruguay Round has been controversial, Article 27 (3) (b) of this agreement is more so. It pertains to patenting of biotechnology inventions.
