Dump Anti-Dumping THE global trading community is today looking helplessly at the menacing growth of anti-dumping cases registered all over the world. It is hard to keep abreast of the number of cases. There are many which have been settled with definite measures still in force; many more are being readied. If the WTO is to play an effective role in promoting trade for development and reduce trade conflicts among nations, deep thought has to be given to the basic framework within which member nations have sought to resolve conflicts, take action against unfair trading and get rid of protective barriers to trade.
