Seam of Anger and Concern

THIS is the story of a signature campaign that was started in Delhi on December 1 by a few concerned citizens to express anger at the recent spate of attacks on minorities and to express solidarity with Christian institutions alt over India which observed December 4, 1998 as a day of protest. This campaign was begun on December 1 in the locality where the initiators of the campaign lived and they expected to get maybe 150 to 200 signatures. But they had no idea what a seam of anger and concern they had tapped among the ordinary people they approached
