IN terms of the modern political-economic rhetoric of globalism frequently and indiscriminately used in writings on politics, economics, culture, ideology and history the book under review is interesting. It deals with the history and operation of some immigrant groups in the US and other countries, and makes sweeping generalisations about their activities leading to "the road to cosmopolis", a phrase used in the epilogue part of the book.
