Prisoner of Beliefs Misunderstanding Mahima Dharma Subhakanta Behera IN reaction to my article "Jagannath and Alekh; A Study in Juxtaposition' (Economic and Political Weekly, August 16-23.1997), S Nath, himself a follower of the Mahima Dharma, had published a discussion, 'Mahima Dharma: Plea for Proper Perception' in the issue dated January 24, 1998. On my first reading of this discussion. I thought to discard it as a piece of popular writing based on his superstitious beliefs, but then I decided to respond and set the facts straight so that readers get an objective view of the dharma.
