University Autonomy Reality or Myth

AD Oak Indian universities have lost their autonomy either to the government or to the professional institutes recognised by the parliament or to the agencies created by the UGC. In order to regain autonomy, universities should function and interact with industries and research organisations to generate revenue, and become financially and academically independent.
