EPW Research Foundation IPCL Record Production THE petrochemicals giant, IPCL, fared well for 1995-96 when it saw a 7.4 per cent rise in net profit. The year saw the company achieving its highest ever figures in terms of production, sales, and profitability. While net sales and value of production rose by 2L4 per cent and 23.2 per cent over the previous year, 1994-95, the company saw an even sharper increase in operating profit due to a less than proportionate increase in operating expenses.
