Dalitbahujan Intellectual Forum FOR perhaps the first time in the intellectual history of India, an organisation of dalitbahujan intellectuals has been formed at a two-day conference held at New Delhi in May. The conference was attended by 150 scholars, writers, thinkers, academics, civil servants and activists belonging to SC, ST, OBC and minorities. The thematic agenda for the two-day deliberations was (a) historical, philosophical and ideological aspects of the dalitbahujan alternative, (b) alternative socio-economic and political programme, and (c) strategy and tactics of dalitbahujan movements.
