Irrational Prescription THE government's contortions on the drug policy would have been amusing if it were not for the fact that they crucially affect the current and future health status of all sections of the population. However, the recent spurt of ministerial blether on the 'forthcoming' drug policy, increasingly irresolute and uninformative, appears to indicate that a decidedly pro-industry policy is all packaged and ready, awaiting a politically appropriate moment.
