plan will increase the plant production capacity by 50 per cent from the existing 33,000 mt. Commercial production was expected to commence in 1993-94. The company has also invested Rs 1 crore in a new company, namely, Suraj Industries, which is being set up in the assisted sector with HPSIDC. The new company is setting up a vanaspati and refined oil manufacturing unit in Himachal Pradesh.
