The company incurred a loss of Rs 23.16 lakh in 1989-90, which together with Rs 5.60 lakh of short provision of expenses of earlier years amounted to a debit of Rs 28.76 lakhs to set which off and to provide for a modest dividend of one rupee to the shareholders an amount of Rs 41.13 lakh was transferred from general reserve.
