On EPW

On EPW DHARMA KUMAR's main charge against EPW (August 3-10) is that it has been hegemonised by a group of Marxists who have tried to convert it into a party journal, restricting debate to doctrinal strife among the faithful. One docs not really find anything wrong if a particular journal has its ideological predilection. In fact, every journal of opinion worth its name necessarily has such a predilection.
