Regular production is expected to be taken up soon. A new solid torsion bar independent front suspension 4-speed transmission and full floating hypoid live axle have been developed. Similarly, the development work on OM 616 engine and D301 E2 engine to meet stricter emission norms was carried out. Expenditure on R and D accounted for 0.59 per cent of turnover. With the completion of new commercial tool room equip' ped with the latest CNC 3-dimension die sinking equipment, the company intends to take up press tool and die making for other customers in addition to meeting its own increasing requirement.
