Communal Violence in Hyderabad

THE people of the twin cities have during the last three months been witnesses to communal violence on an unprecedented scale in the history of Hyderabad. These communal killings have started in July of this year, continued through October and in recent weeks the killings have reached alarming proportions. The whole governmental machinery has been exposed to be totally ineffective and incompetent and the calling in of the army served only to illustrate this.
