Arms and Advani WHATEVER be the consequences and gtins of L K Advani's rathyatra and the campaign to promote Hindutva for the BJP will undoubtedly result in exacerbating social tensions and bringing into the open a dormant belligerence wherever it goes. Whatever be the stated objectives of the campaign, the structure, form and content of the exercise is directed at creating and legitimising a coherent militancy which will grow on itself even when the immediate cause for which it came into being no longer exists.
