SUPREME INDUSTRIES-New Products

SUPREME INDUSTRIES is drawing up plans for manufacture of ABS moulding powder with a capacity of 5,000 tonnes per annum. The project is intended to be implemented by a new company to be promoted for this purpose. The management and a suitable technology is being considered. The company's Rs 15-crore programme of expansion and modernisation in its four units is in progresses. This includes establishment of R and D facility at Andheri and a modern tool room in Bombay. The company has also plans for special extruded projects at Taloja, It has already spent Rs 6.5 crore in 1986-87 and the remaining amount will be spent in the current year. The industrial components and co-extruded films divisions have gone into production at NOIDA. The former division will be working, at optimum capacity from February 1988 onwards.
