THE OLYMPICS-Price of Redevelopment

Since 1981 when Seoul was awarded the 'honour' of holding the 1988 Olympics, South Korea has plunged into a whirl of 'developmental' activities in preparation for the event. And not surprisingly, it is the country's labouring population, the workers, farmers and the urban unorganised sector, who have paid the price for all this industry.
