Apolitically Political THE Five national technology missions were initiated in 1985, but since last year they have acquired a new flavour. This is not surprising considering that it is only since then that Sam Pitroda has been in charge of these missions. Fresh from his C-DOT success, Pitroda has refined the mission approach and given it its current high profile and '21st century' thrust. The jargon is familiar and the content irrelevant.
