PEICO ELECTRONICS Expanding Product Range PEICO ELECTRONICS AND ELEC- TRICALS' project for manufacture of colour television sets at the Salt Lake Factory in Calcutta is in an advanced stage of implementation and production is expected to start during the second half of this year. Meanwhile, PHX has established itself as a leading brand in television. The company has introduced several new models in the audio recorder line which have been well received by trade and consumers. It has developed a new line of medium and low priced radios for lower income households. In the hi-fi line, a new range of amplifiers, tape decks and other elements has been introduced. The company's car audio has been well accepted by the leading car manufacturers as OEM equipment. Besides, several projects for the manufacture of critical components- relating to the audio recording and televisions have been undertaken, which are at various stages of implementation. The licences for production of printed circuit boards and magnetic heads have been implemented at Pune and Calcutta respectively.
