The CCI chief has dismissed the ICMF's apprehensions of cotton shortage as baseless. The managing director of the Maharashtra State Co-operative Cotton Growers' Federation, B K Agarwal, has stated that the Federation is holding sufficient stocks of short and medium staple cotton and that none of the ICMF members came forward to lift this cotton when it offered this cotton at the lowest possible prices in May.
