Private Financing Firms in Kerala A Study

A Study B A Prakash Since the beginning of the 1980s there has been a phenomenal growth in private financing institutions in Kerala. This study, based on a survey of these firms in Trichur town, seeks to examine the factors which contributed to the emergence of these institutions, the method of their functioning and their importance as a parallel banking system, Trichur has over 1,500 such firms attracting deposits totalling around Rs 100 crore.
