per cent to 47 per cent), But alter 1974-75, agriculture's share in NDP at current prices has turned out to be lower than that at constant prices, the former ranging from 41.8 per cent to 33.9 per cent and the latter from 44.8 per cent to 37.8 per cent. This movement in terms of trade against agriculture was accompanied by only a slight improvement in the terms of trade in favour of the secondary sector; the bulk of the improvement seems to have been in favour of the broad sub-sector 'trade, hotels and restaurants'. Between 1975-76 and 1979-80, the secondary sector's share in NDP at current prices ranged from 21.5 per cent to 24.2 per cent while that at constant prices ranged from 20.1 per cent to 22.7 per cent, implying a slightly more rapid increase at current prices than in real terms.
