This is not correct. All the passengers were forced to disembark at Budge Budge and their request that they be allowed to proceed to Calcutta was turned down. Rai's interest in documentation seems to be perfunctory. For instance, while citing newspapers she does not mention the relevant page numbers. As for printing errors, on an average there is one per page.
