Not for the Weak

WITHIN the existing political and economic framework, fiscal concessions, subsidies in various forms, and increasing reliance on the free play of market forces, appear to be the only remedies available against industrial stagnation. And as each successive experience exposes the ineffectiveness of the reme- dies, there is no recourse except to go in for even more incentives, concessions, and subsidies.
