PAKISTAN Democracy and National Question THE martial law administration in Pakistan has released Benazir Bhutto, Nusrat, Bhutto and Asghar Khan, three opposition leaders it has most reason to fear, who had been under detention since October 1979. The opposition parties in Pakistan have seen in the release of these three leaders an encouraging sign of the easing of martial law restrictions. Political rallies and meetings which arc banned, under martial law are taking place. Different political leaders have openly called for Zia's ouster.
