The facts which are highlighted do not capture the sordid record of Bhutto, the power-wielder, or of the psychopathic fanaticism of General Zia-ul-Haq, Pakistan's martial law administrator. The horrendous killing of Bhutto, who was himself a savage politician, is projected in such a way that the trauma of Pakistan hardly gets across.
