By Section 110 of this Act, five other acts that were in force ceased to operate' Curiously, with this repeal, an important provision made by the Charitable and Religious Trusts Act, 1920 which extended to the whole of India stood removed. Under Section 3 of the CRT Act 1920, "any person having in- . . . may apply by petition to the . . for particulars as to the 'nature and objects of the Trust or as to any of these matters' and "the accounts of the trust". There is no substitute to this section under the AP CHRIE Act I960.
