Overpopulation' and the Rural Poor A Rejoinder M V Nadkarni IN their comment on my article,1 Michael Vlassoff and Carol Vlassoff- argue that the evidence submitted by me does not substantiate my arguments, and even if it did, they are not cogent. Though in the process they have twisted my arguments and tried to put things in my mouth which I have not said, they have not tried to understand the perspective and the message of the article.
