pointed out that "a detailed break-up of the type of formulations produced by the major foreign firms shows that formulations of essential life-saving drugs are only around 30 per cent of the total value of formulations, while they play a dominant role in the manufacture of common household remedies and vitamin preparations ... the share of some firms in such type of production is as high as 80-90 per cent".
