The latest proposals to bring in foreign companies for the next generation of plants to he set up are also cleverly related to the exploitation of Bombay High gas, but the fact is disregarded that thy FCI has constructed and is operating a large gas-based plant at Namrup in Assam, Revealingly enough, TOYO is again very active and has already shown its enthusiasm for putting up a plant of the latest' type for Bombay High gas. The campaign against the FCI is thus on familiar lines and its link with foreign interests cannot be lost sight of.
