Many Ghanians take a more realistic view of the achievements of Nkrumah, eleven years after his over throw and five after his death. They feel that the time has come for a thoughtful academic appraisal of the man, his views and his vision. He should be first better understood and then emulated. This would be a better way of honouring him.
