ESCORTS has stepped up its foreign exchange earnings from under Rs 3 crores in 1974 to Rs 15 crores in 1975. Having achieved a major break-through in export of agricultural equipment in 1974, the company has won another order for 160 tractors from Nepal, pay-able in free foreign exchange under ADB credit and is poised for entry into Ceylon and also expects a repeat order from Afghanistan.
