The clues continue to be highlighted to arrange a presidential or prime ministerial scandal, but the empirical evidence suggests no action. There is a lazy acceptance of illegal ways, a kind of exhausted rationale for survival. Indeed, even when the anger gathers, it soon dissolves in helplessness. No viable alternative has yet crystallised
