KRISHNA STEEL has set up its billet making plant at the MIDC indus-trial estate off Thana Belapur Road in Maharashtra. The Rs 3.5-erore project comprises a steel melting shop and a billet rolling mill. Two 15-tonne elec-tric arc furnaces will produce steel opto 50,000 tonnes a year and triple the company's -present production of wire rods.
