Speaking at the Nineteenth Annual General Meeting of the Share-holders held in Madras, on Friday, the 29th March 1974, Shri R K Tulwar expressed satisfaction at the progress made by several States in introducing legislative and administrative reforms to simplify the process of giving loans to agriculturists. Me stressed the need for intermediaries to canalise the flow of commercial bank assistance and offered the State Bank s full sopport to the Farmers' Service Socie-ties.
