With the Full Knowledge of the Government! Hansavivek GWALlOR RAYON's installed capacity for viscose staple fibre is 78,000 tonnes, while the licensed capacity is only 22,000 tonnes. Similarly, installed capacities for sulphuric acid, carbon-di- sulphide and sodium sulphate are much higher at 68,500 tonnes, 13,500 tonnes and 32,300 tonnes compared to the licensed capacities of 37,800 tonnes, 5,658 tonnes and 7,200 tonnes, respectively. The directors say that the additional capacities, not yet endorsed on the industrial licences, were established in srages, in accordance with the relevant laws and/or notifications issued by government from time to time and "with the full knowledge of the concerned departments of the government". It is also stated that installed capacity for manufacture of rayon grade pulp at Mavoor was increased from 54,000 tonnes to 72,000 tonnes per annum pursuant to the government's notification of May 13, 1966, delicensing pulp and other industries. The government had, however, issued a COB licence for a capacity of only 60,000 tonnes against the zcompany's application.
