So the failure, as PB admits, was not due to the "objective conditions'' but due to the objective factor of lack of correct leadership, Marxist terminology is very precise and should be understood before being used. Take, for example, the term independent young radicals" utilised by PB, What does this term "independent" mean? Independent of whom or what? Independent of political parties? Or is he referring to individuals with a professed independent political line? Again, this is not made clear. In a class society such terms as independent, neutral, non-aligned, have no place. Either you are for the people or against them. Such terms are normally used by the bourgeoisie to confuse the people.
