April 1, 1972 THE Bombay University's Department of Economics is now over fifty years old. During these years its tradition of relevance and radicalism has contributed much to Indian economics. To celebrate its Golden Jubilee, the Department organised a seminar on "The Indian Economy: Performance and Prospects" from March 25 to 28.
