All the party leaders have understandably been campaigning in Baden-Wurttemberg, But the Social Democrats in this state have the onerous task of winning from their coalition partners in the state and simultaneously of preventing their federal partners from losing. The Ostcertrage would be in jeopardy if the SPD fails to achieve either of these twin imponderables in the state.
