SOUTH-EAST ASIA-Cementing the Front

THREE new developments have occurred in the communist movement in South-East Asia lately. First, all the communist organisations in the region have increased their activity aimed at mobilising the people for armed struggle, and this increased activity has brought them further gains in areas where such armed struggles have been going on. Secondly, in countries where communist parties are banned, their affiliated organisations, which had remained dormant for the past several years, have been reactivated. Thirdly, the separate movements in these countries have been asked to forge links and unite in one single struggle, by co-ordinating their activities and giving help to each other.
