From Piety to Policy
January 10, 1970 A Correspondent writes: THE annual report of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, for the year 1968-69, released recently, deserves careful attention. The Institute is now well established and is recognised as the premier management education institution in the country. It is time, therefore, for a complete examination of its role, the quality of its instruction, the correctness of its emphasis on management education through long- term and short-term courses and, generally, its contribution to the acceptance of professional management in Indian business.
