The year 1968-69 was a better one for gqmpanfes than 1967-68, the number of Government companies registered increased from 9 to 13, though the authorised capital was almost constant (Rs 71 crores in 1967-68 and Rs 69.3 chores in 1968-69). The number of non-Government companies registered increased from 1,035 to 1,102; the rise in their authorised capital was even more marked
