seeds (including groundnut) has been raised from 45 per cent to 50 per cent of the value of the stock. In respect of advances to registered oil mills and against official warehouse receipts, the minimum margin has been raised to 40 per cent and 35 per cent from the current levels of 35 per cent and 25 per cent, respectively. The minimum margin for advances against vegetable oils (including vanaspati) has been fixed at 50 per cent with provision for concessional margins of 40 per cent in respect of advances to vanaspati manufacturers and registered oil mills, The present margin of 25 per cent for advances to solvent extraction plants and/or integral oil expcller mills having such plants is being continued. The ceiling restrictions have also been correspondingly tightened. Thus the ceiling for the two- month period commencing from May- June 1969 on advances against groundnut, 'other oilseeds' and vegetable oils (including vanaspati) has been reduced from 100 per cent to 80 per cent of the corresponding level of such advances in the year 1967, Separate ceilings have been stipulated for warehouse and non-warehouse advances.
