WHEN Sachin Chaudhuri died on the morning of December 20, 1966, month. Today, on the first anniversary of his passing, the temptation is great to write about the trials of a year without Sachin Chaudhuri. But that would be totally unlike him. He was too absorbed with the tasks of the moment to reminisce, much less bother with the past. For a journal, in its second year, the tasks of the moment are absorbing indeed.
